Cassava balls is a popular Filipino dessert made from grated cassava, sugar and lye water. The sticky, steamed balls are traditionally rolled in grated coconut or cheese for a delicious sweet snack.

- white sugar1Β½ cup
- lye water1 tablespoon
- vanilla1 tablespoon
- food coloringa few drops
- grated coconut or cheeseto taste
