Healthy muffins made with almond flour, banana and chocolate chips

- almond flour2 cups
- baking powder1 tsp
- baking sodaΒ½ tsp
- bananas3 large
- egg1 large
- maple syrup or honeyΒΌ cup
- vanilla extract1 tsp
- chocolate chipsΒ½ cup
- sliced almondsto taste
- coconut oilfor spraying
Preparation

Line a 12-cup muffin tin with paper liners and lightly spray with coconut oil. Set aside.

Put the dry ingredients in a large mixing bowl and mix well.

Put the bananas, egg, honey and vanilla extract in a blender. Blend until smooth.

Add the wet ingredients to the dry ingredients.

Fold in the chocolate chips.

Divide the batter among the muffin liners and sprinkle with sliced almonds.

Bake at 180Β°C for 18-20 minutes or until the top is golden brown and a toothpick comes out clean.

Let the muffins cool in the tin for 10 minutes before transferring to a wire rack to cool completely.
