Ingredients

  • grated cassava2 cups
  • sugar1 cup
  • water2 cups
  • lye waterΒ½ teaspoon
  • buko pandan essenceΒ½ teaspoon
  • grated coconut or cheeseto taste

Preparation

    Mix the grated cassava, sugar and water.

    Add the lye water while continuously stirring.

    Add the buko pandan essence and mix again.

    Once the mixture is evenly distributed, pour it into individual cup molds.

    Place in the steamer and steam for 45 minutes to 1 hour.

    Let cool.

    Roll each piece through the grated coconut or cheese.
